Neranwood is one of the suburbs of the city of Gold Coast, Queensland. It comes under the state electorate of Mudgeeraba and the federal division of Wright. It has the suburbs of Numinbah Valley, Advancetown, Mudgeeraba, Austinville, and Springbrook as its neighbours.

The suburb got its name from a sawmill that existed in the area. Nerang Hardwood Company eventually got contracted to Neranwood, and the name became official later.

There was a tramway built to transport timber, but both sawmill and tramway closed in 1928. After the tramway shut down, the sleepers from the tracks were used by the people for firewood.
