Luscombe is a fairly small locality of the city of Gold Coast, Queensland. It lies in the Gold Coast Hinterland. The population of this suburb is less than 500 people. On the eastern side, it has River Albert marking its boundary. The area has a number of quarries, some of which are on the northern side and some on the east.

The area comes under the electoral district of Albert and the federal division of Forde. The suburb was named after the sugar plantation belonging to Frederick Shaw. The suburbs neighbouring it are Wolffdene, Bannockburn, Yatala, Ormeau, Ormeau Hills, Kingsholme, and Cedar Creek.
